I made this flyer to tell Emmett's therapists & teachers a little about him.

OurfragileXLife: Caruthers , CA, United States; Our family welcomes you to join us in our journey. Can't make any promises that this journey will be easy but it will be worth it. My name is Erika and I am the momma of 3 amazing children, Emmett(7) , Amaya (11 and my step-son Jj (18), and baby Amelia. Together with the love of my life Juan we are going through this roller coaster journey.. Emmett & Amaya both have a genetic condition called Fragile X Syndrome. Emmett is on the very affected side of Fragile X Syndrome he is medically consider to also have Intellectual Disability, Autism, and Epilepsy. Amaya is very high functioning and Fragile X Syndrome did not affect her to the same extent of Emmett. She does struggle with anxiety, and other medical things that come with Fragile X. Last year we decided to homeschool both Emmett and Amaya. Homeschooling two special needs has been a journey to say the least. Join us as we share how fun & difficult it can be to raise a child with autism & Fragile X Syndrome. & our homeschool life.
